T.W. Alexander has been for several months in a very precarious state of health and lately went to Chefoo on vacation leave where I learn (by Telegram) he died on the 10th instant.
In Mr Alexander's death the Colonial service has lost an able, zealous and respected officer.
I shall address Your Lordship on the subject of filling the Office of Registrar of the Supreme Court; and changes connected therewith at an early date.
I have the honor to be, My Lord, Your Lordship's most obedient humble servant.
